This field is designed to prepare graduates for advanced careers in the food service and hospitality industries. This field also prepares candidates for teaching and research in the field of hospitality/food service such as college/university lecturers or hospitality field consultants. Related research areas are restaurant management, restaurant design and layout, menu planning, food culture, food tourism, culinary and gastronomic, cultural heritage, and sustainable food. 

Eligibility

An applicant with good achievement in Master of Science with CGPA at least 3.00 from UPM or other institutions that qualified by UPM. 

Applicant without sufficient academic qualification but possessing evidence of adequate related research or work experience may also eligible.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

 If you are non-native English speaker, you must achieve one of the formal qualifications as part of the entry requirements: 1. IELTS - 1. Minimum overall score of 6.0 for TESL/English or 5.5 for other programmes; or

 2. TOEFL - Minimum overall score of 550 for TESL/English or 500 for other programmes; or

 3. Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) - Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) - enrolled at ELS-UPM - Level 109 English or Level 107 for other pro
